This shore is policed by eight city police departments and the Sheriff, and not all of them are streamed. Malibu and Topanga are on one scanner feed of their own; the city of Los Angeles’s shore — Pacific Palisades, Venice, Playa del Rey, San Pedro — is on LAPD’s division feeds; Long Beach streams its police and its fire. Santa Monica’s police, the Sheriff’s Marina del Rey station, and the El Segundo, Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo and Palos Verdes Estates police are not on any feed. Avalon is on the Sheriff’s Lomita channel. Open the feed for your own stretch of coast first.

Run by volunteers, not by any agency. They play an ad first, run a minute or so behind the radio, and can go quiet without notice; Broadcastify’s page for each one shows whether it is on. Not a way to get help: call 911.
